Steph Curry and Under Armour Present The Curry One

January 2025 marks 10 years since the release of Steph Curry’s first signature shoe with Under Armour, The Curry One. My late friend Alex Grant and my brother Marco Svizzero we’re exceptionally lucky to have a chance to work with Under Armour and Steph Curry. The day opened with Curry and the Under Armour designers behind The Curry One thoroughly going through the process, the inspiration and what this shoe means for Curry and his family.

Curry then got on the court with the wear testers and did some basketball drills to put the shoes to the test. Sadly, Curry was only on the court for a very short time, so we did the best we could.

After 10 years of the footage sitting around in some dusty hard drive, I decided to turn it into a finished piece. This was filmed back with the Canon 5D was still a well used workhorse in the industry and you were limited to 30fps at 1080 and if you were really lucky, you knew a friend who could shoot in 60fps at 1080 (Alex Grant).

This was the first and hopefully not the last time my path will cross with the GOAT Steph Curry.
