Athelas Customer Testimonials

Goldwax did so well on the first round of customer testimonials with Athelas, that they wanted to do the same thing, but this time they doubled the amount of customer testimonials and consolidated everything into one day of filming. They really maximized the production and everyone’s limited time.

Since it was the same location as the previous shoot, I knew exactly how to setup all the cameras and lighting and was able to quickly setup the room and all the gear. We used an Aputure 300x as our key light, two stacked nanlite pavotubes as our hair/backlights, a large 8x8 scrim jim to soften the natural light coming in and an 8x8 negative fill to take out any unwanted direct sunlight on our subjects. Video and audio gear consisted of two Sony FX3’s, one equipped with a Sony 24-70mm and the other with a Sony 70-200mm lens to avoid any jump cut, paired with a boom mic holding a Sennheiser shotgun mic going into the Tascam external audio recorder for 32bit float lossless audio quality.

Athelas was again blown away with the results of the videos and more internal teams at Athelas have been reaching out to Goldwax since to make more videos. Looking forward to the next video project with Athelas.
